Ok, so Pokertub #2 was a little smaller than we had hoped but we are going to try again!

There is a $5 buy in and we are starting at 6:30 so please turn up before that!
The game is still a subtle variation on the norm that we are calling ‘Combat Poker’ there is a $5 bounty on everyone’s head to make things a little more interesting! The idea is, if you knock someone out of the game, you claim $5 – it gives everyone a chance to win something! The rest of the Kitty goes to first place!

Oh and if that wasn’t enough, the folks @theinquisitr is sponsoring again so there will be even more stuff!

there should be about 20 odd seats so let us know if you are coming! People who say that they are ‘maybes’ will be seated after the definates

Oh and as before, the only condition for entry is that you MUST have a Twitter account of good standing; that is, not 1 day old, and opened just to qualify for the event – we want to keep this Twitter focused!

EDIT: Due to a double booking at Softbelly we have been bumped to the 18th

So it appears that Telstra are on the Social Media bandwagon this week so we thought that we would help them out and lighten their pockets somewhat. Not to make it too easy (and spoil the fun) you will need to find out the location of this MTUB all by yourself, the only thing I have to say is that you will need to phone ahead to order your pizza (1300 615 786)

Now, if pizza isn’t your thing, join us for beers around the corner at Provincial Hotel on Brunswick st from 6:30pm

Oh and as normal, let us know if your coming on facebook

Original Score written and performed by Adam Rudegeair @neonbogart
Starring Adam Rudegeair @neonbogart, Amie Cupit @aimzsta, Jon Howard @jonathon_howard and Steph Dyhin @tephdee
This short film explores feelings of loneliness and connection in the big city, in modern life. Told without dialogue, the story follows our protagonist through Melbourne as he struggles to keep up with the speed of those around him. We feel his isolation, and his longing to find another with whom he can share his day.
We follow the character’s disappointments as he seeks out others who share his frequency, who look at the world from the same perspective. Increasingly disheartened, we join in his journey to find another who travels through life at the same pace.
Frequency was filmed entirely on a Samsung Omnia Mobile Phone with a 5 Megapixel Camera
This film is truly fabulous and it’s an amazing achievement for Joel. Please come down and show your support :)
